This position involves responsibility for the oversight and safety of participants using the pool as well as other lifeguards. It required and understanding of the safety rules and regulations, as well as crowd management and customer service skills. This position requires an individual to be able to work in a group and with effective multitasking and troubleshooting skills.

This position involves keeping a deaf 8th grade student company and assisting with her homework when needed. This was a great experience for me as I am currently studying special education and sign language. This position required me to adapt to the student’s learning abilities, interests, and everyday needs on a daily basis. I had to be able to work independently, multitask effectively, and troubleshoot without inhibiting the student’s learning and understanding.

My primary role is to serve as a cashier, as well as to monitor the self-service check-out area. This requires attention to detail, an eye for accuracy, the ability to troubleshoot, and excellent interpersonal communication skills. In addition, I provide excellent customer service in different departments, such as lawn and garden. I also assist with stock organization, light cleaning, and assist with loss prevention as possible.

​This position involves keeping multiple children of different ages, learning abilities, and interests active and occupied while also learning and continuing to develop everyday skills needed in the “real world”. It requires an understanding of the rules and regulations, as well as the management of multiple children. This position required an individual to be able to work independently and with effective multitasking and troubleshooting skills.

Fishers High School - Swim Lesson Teacher/Lifeguard

October 2017 - April 2019

This position involves teaching children basic swimming and water survival skills, as well as respect for authority figures.  It also requires the development of lesson plans specific to each skill level and the individual student.  An individual must have excellent communication and service skills, as well as the ability to work independently, to be successful in this position.
